The 2016 Schedule

There are just over 8 weeks left until WordCamp London 2016 and with that we are proud to present the WordCamp London 2016 Schedule!

This year, we’ve added a few changes to the schedule, including a wider variety of session formats and longer break times between presentations.

Following from last year’s tradition, WordCamp London 2016 will hold the Contributor Day on Friday 8th April, with the two conference days occurring over the following weekend, 9th – 10th April.

Session Formats

Our longest session format will be 40 minutes inclusive of Q & A time; enabling speakers to have more time to delve deeper into their topics. Other session formats that you’ll come across during the event include lightning talk collections and a variety of topical panels.

We’ve included a minimum of 20 minutes for a turnover allowance between every session throughout Saturday and Sunday.

The Schedule

The schedule is now available to view, and will give you the running order of presentations as well as information about individual sessions and speakers.

… and don’t forget your tickets!

Why all these changes?

The schedule changes are designed to give all the attendees adequate time to grab a drink, have a pit stop and still have time to get to the next session in time. It will also ensure that there is ample opportunity to digest information from the previous session before moving onto the next. Food will not always be available during this time.

We want to give you time to discuss ideas and meet new people, not spend your time rushing around gripped with FOMO*.

The only thing to fear, is missing out

We hope you share our excitement of the topics that all our speakers are bringing to the event and can’t wait to see you there!

*FOMO: Fear of missing out.
